Name the product and quantity
State whether you need business cards, flyers, booklets, labels, bags or another item. Add the quantity and, where relevant, how many different designs you need. “500 cards with one design” and “500 cards shared between five staff members” are different briefs.
If you are unsure of the right format, describe the purpose: for example, introducing a new shop, presenting a company profile or branding an event. Printa can discuss options before a specification is confirmed.
Give the finished size and print details
Send the required width and height, the number of printed sides and any preferred material or finish. For booklets and company profiles, include the page count and binding preference if you have one.
If you are copying an existing item, a photo is helpful, but dimensions and a physical sample where available make the comparison more reliable. Ask the supplier to spell out the final specification so you can compare like-for-like quotes.
Explain whether artwork is ready
Tell Printa whether you have a final design, an editable source file, a logo only or a brief that needs design work. Send the highest-quality available file. A screenshot can show the idea but is not necessarily suitable production artwork.
A print-ready PDF is often a useful handoff format. Designs that extend to the trimmed edge may need bleed: extra artwork outside the final cut line. Ask Printa for the required file setup rather than assuming one preset suits every product.
Check the content before approval
Review names, phone numbers, addresses, spelling and any other information that must be correct. Confirm the final size and quantity against the quotation, then check the artwork proof carefully.
If colour matching matters, raise it before production and discuss the available proof or sample options. A screen preview should not be treated as a promise that the printed colour will look identical.
Include the deadline and delivery destination
Give the date you need the finished items, not only the date of the event. Include the delivery town or address and any access requirements. Tell Printa whether the order includes several products that must arrive together.
Production time and delivery cost depend on the confirmed job. Ask what approvals or payments are needed to start, and confirm the agreed timeline before relying on it for an event.
Use one complete message
Keep the main details together so the quantity in one message does not contradict the artwork or date in another. If the brief changes, ask for an updated quotation.
On the Printa website, add available products and quantities to your quote and send it through WhatsApp. Website figures are planning estimates; Printa confirms the specification, final pricing and delivery before production.
